Free OCTC SkillTrain at the Annex

Fridays from 9:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

SkillTrain provides adults (ages 19+) with instruction in basic academic and workplace skills.  Prepare for the GED, college, or a career option right here!  Appointments required! Call 270-864-6824.

Ready for an evening of thrills and chills?  Join us for a special showing of Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 horror-thriller film, "The Birds" - Rated PG-13. 

 

Drive-Thru Family Trick-or-Treating

Bring the family for drive-thru trick-or-treating in the library parking lot! 

 

Dungeons & Dragons Night

Tuesday, November 2nd OR Friday, November 19th

5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Adventure awaits those brave enough to answer the call!  From beginners to experts: all heroes welcome!  Supplies will be provided.  Ages 14 and up.  *No Rules Lawyering*

 

Lego League

Saturday, November 6th

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Bring your friends and family to the library for an afternoon of Lego fun!  Ages 4 and up!

Color Connection Coloring Club

Stop by the Library Annex for a relaxing evening of coloring!  Can't make it?  Pick up a take home craft kit starting November 10th!  Ages 14 and up. 

 

Board Game Bash

Bring your family and friends for an evening of board game bliss!  7 wonders, Arkham Horror, Catan Junior, Azul, Ticket to Ride, and so much more!  All ages welcome.

New to homeschooling?  Are you a pro and want to share some ideas?  Join our monthly collaborative support group!  We will take care of the kids while you share ideas!

Adult Book Club

Looking for your new favorite book?  Want to share your favorites?  Join us at the Ohio County Public Library for the Adult Book Club.  The Book Club covers a variety of book titles and genres sure to please any avid reader.  If you are interested, contact the library at 270-298-3790. 

 

Color Connection Coloring Club

Looking for a great way to sit back and relax?  Why not become part of the Color Connection at the Ohio County Public Library?  Join us for old school anti-stress coloring, warm drinks, music, conversation and no screens.  Be a part of this relaxation trend.  Supplies will be provided - simply bring yourself.  Participants ages 14 and up are welcome to attend. 

   

Crafter's Corner

Beginners, Intermediate, and Skilled:  All Welcome!  Drop in at the Library Annex to learn basic crafting tips, techniques, and tricks while sharing with fellow crafters.  Some supplies will be provided or feel free to bring your own. 

 

Home School Support Space  

The Ohio County Public Library is now offering a Home School Support Space in an effort to assist our Home School families.  Children's activities will be provided during this time.

Looking for a new and exciting way to rekindle your child's interest in learning?  Why not check out some of the manipulatives and hands-on learning activities we offer in our newest section "The School Stack."  We offer dozens of materials for Math, Science, Reading, and much more.  Come and check some out today!

 

Better Your Technology Experience (BYTE)
