Until further notice, the Ohio County Public Library is closed.  Stay safe and healthy!

Effective 3-16-2020

Due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, all in-house library programs (children and adult) are cancelled.  However, on Wednesday & Thursday, we will have programs on Facebook Live.  Wednesday's program will be for babies and toddlers.  Thursday's program will be for ages 4 & 5 years.  Programs will be live at 11:00 a.m.

All Bookmobile routes are cancelled.  Homebound services will continue with book exchanges taking place at the door only.

Internet access is available on the grounds 24/7.  Simply log on to Guest WiFi, agree with the policy, click enter, and you are online.

Effective 3-17-2020

Curbside Carport Service is now available to all patrons.  Call 270-298-3790 and tell us when you will be coming, as well as what car you are driving.  We will ask what your reading likes are and try to pull materials for you.  Staff will checkout your materials and wait for your arrival.  The exchange will take place on the carport.  So...drive around the back of the building and come down the side next to the jail.  Pull up on the open carport and honk.  A staff member will bring your books to the vehicle and take your returns.  You can also reserve books online and, if they are available, we will pull them and call you for pickup.

Effective 3-9-2020

2. Returned items will be isolated for 8 days.

4. Door handles, handrails, computer area and seating/tables will be cleaned at noon and at closing.
