Crochet for Beginners

Learn basic techniques, tips, and tricks while sharing with fellow crafters.  Supplies will be furnished.  Located at the Library Annex. 


Urban Survival Training

Join the Ohio County Public Library and local experts as we teach basic skills you need to know!  Open to ages 16 to 30ish.

Sensational Smoothies

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Join the Ohio County Public Library and the Ohio County Extension Office to collect recipes and sample some sensational smoothies!  Supplies will be provided.  Ages 14 and up. 


Trivia Night

Tuesday, May 29th

5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Challenge yourself during an evening of trivia.  Movies, books, music, sitcoms, and more will be the trivia topics.  Come as an individual or as a team!  Ages 14 and up.

Monday, May 14th.   Lively discussion on the book Murder on the Orient Express by:  Agatha Christie at 5:30 p.m.  Murder on the Orient Express (2017) movie at 6:30 p.m. open to any interested party.  Meeting to be held at the Library ANNEX. 


Adult Book Blog

Love Blogging??  Love sharing your favorite reads?  Check out Ohio County Public Library's new adult book blog Books & Beyond!  The blog will feature new book lists, favorite reads, and book reviews from library staff and book club members.  The blog can be accessed from HERE or by going to ohiocountypubliclibrary.wordpress.com.

Adult Coloring Club

Tuesday, April 17th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Looking for a great way to sit back and relax?  Why not become part of the Color Connection at the Ohio County Public Library?  Join us for old school anti-stress coloring, warm drinks, music, conversation and no screens.  Be a part of this relaxation trend.  Supplies will be provided - simply bring yourself.  This group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Annex located across the street from the library.  Participants ages 14 and up are welcome to attend. 


Home School Support Space

The Ohio County Public Library is now offering a Home School Support Space in an effort to assist our Home School families.  Children's activities will be provided during this time.  This will be available again on April 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
