Adult Painting Night

Registration is Required!  Create your own masterpiece with detailed step-by-step instructions.  Channel your inner artist and enjoy this light and colorful evening!  Ages 14 and up.  Call 270-298-3790 to register.

Having a craving for something new?  Looking for a sweet way to spend your day?  Why not bring the family to the library and make some amazing Lego creations?!  Come for an hour or stay for the day!  All ages welcome.

Adult Book Club

Looking for your new favorite book?  Want to share your favorites?  Join us at the Ohio County Public Library for the Adult Book Club.  The Book Club covers a variety of book titles and genres sure to please any avid reader.  If you are interested, contact the library at 270-298-3790.

Adult Book Blog

Love Blogging??  Love sharing your favorite reads?  Check out Ohio County Public Library's new adult book blog Books & Beyond!  The blog will feature new book lists, favorite reads, and book reviews from library staff and book club members.  The blog can be accessed from HERE or by going to ohiocountypubliclibrary.wordpress.com.

Color Connection Coloring Club

Tuesday, January 21st from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Looking for a great way to sit back and relax?  Why not become part of the Color Connection at the Ohio County Public Library?  Join us for old school anti-stress coloring, warm drinks, music, conversation and no screens.  Be a part of this relaxation trend.  Supplies will be provided - simply bring yourself.  This group will meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Annex located across the street from the library.  Participants ages 14 and up are welcome to attend. 


Crochet Corner

Tuesday, January 14th

4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Beginners, Intermediate, and Skilled:  All Welcome!  Join the "Twisted Stitches" group!  Drop in anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Library Annex to learn basic tips, techniques, and tricks while sharing with fellow crafters.  Some supplies will be provided or feel free to bring your own.

Home School Support Space

The Ohio County Public Library is now offering a Home School Support Space in an effort to assist our Home School families.  Children's activities will be provided during this time.

OCTC SkillTrain - FREE

Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

SkillTrain provides adults (ages 19+) with instruction in basic academic and workplace skills.  Prepare for the GED, college or a career option right here!
